Pseudoangiomatous Stromal Hyperplasia: Diagnosis, Treatment and Follow-Up; Description of a Case-Series

Pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia (PASH) is a benign lesion of the breast. Mammography and ultrasonography usually reveal a well circumscribed lesion with benign characteristics. In this report a series of 36 patients is described in terms of imaging, histopathologic findings, therapy and followup. Also an overview of the literature is provided. No standard excision is necessary for PASH proven by core needle biopsy. However, it should be noted that PASH may be an incidental finding not representative of the targeted lesion.
